About the Valley
Yöstmark is located in Driggs, Idaho. Our valley is home to some of the worlds best outdoor activities. These endless activities range from the mountains to the rivers for all ages and activity levels year round. Let us guide you through the valley with some of our neighbors below.
The Grand Targhee ski resort facilitates much of the valley’s activities. In the winter, Targhee is home to some of the countries best snow. They offer great downhill skiing, snowboarding, and nordic skiing. Grand Targhee opens its lifts again in the summer, maintaining great hiking, trail running, and biking trails.
In the summer, Teton valley is filled with music! Teton Valley Foundation’s Music on Main comes alive every Thursday. Targhee also hosts some very fun music festivals including the Targhee Fest Music Festival and the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival.
Teton Valley Trails and Pathways
TVTAP helps maintain many of the valley’s other trails. TVTAP grooms nordic skiing trails during the winter including Teton Canyon, Alta, Pioneer Park in Victor, and Teton Springs Resort. In the summer, they work with the US Forest Service to build, maintain, and restore trails. TVTAP also organizes various volunteering events.
Teton valley also is home to a Geotourism Center whose goal is to offer travelers the ability to experience Teton valley’s the culture, heritage, food, art, geology, and music.
Teton Rock Gym
The Teton Rock Gym located in the same building as the Geotourism Center bring rock climbing to Teton valley for all ages and experience levels. They also offer classes including various levels of climbing technique, belaying, leading, and bouldering.
US Forest Service
Driggs also has a Forest Service office for the Teton Basin Ranger District. Stop by for permits and the latest information on the forest.
